Drone Delivery: the Amazon Effect
Always the innovator, Amazon is apparently contemplating a new delivery option: drone delivery...in 30 minutes or less. While the ability to unleash a fleet of autonomous drones will require some technical advancements, and most certainly years of debates on how to regulate them, this is an exciting development. With companies the size of Amazon entering the drone discussion, we can expect the pace of activity on the part of local governments, the FAA and others to pick up speed as well.
